I didn’t get anything for my kidney tumor, not even an irrelevant sutured scar in my thorax – just six little ones on my right front abdomen, glued together (robots).

Please don’t make fun of organ donors. I’ve seen the miracle a transplant makes in one’s life. Donation truly is an act of love and compassion. My husband had a kidney transplant May 13, 1986. He’s still going strong. his donor was in an auto accident, but she had checked the box on her driver’s license.

I would expect for more than that!

rwright708I didn’t see anyone making fun of organ donors. I certainly carry that wish on my driver’s license and urge others to do likewise. I have been told that they wouldn’t take parts from anyone in their 80s, but I will put my liver against and 25 year old frat boy any time.

On an unrelated note, I think you need to call an ambulance.

Tomorrow night, try a kidney bean. If that works, you’re golden!
