No kidding! I remember when many cable channels were pretty much commercial free. After all, you paid a monthly fee so it was worth it just to watch TV without interruptions. For the most part, the only time you saw a commercial was when you tuned to one of the networks; i.e., CBS, NBC, & ABC! Not so much anymore and the cost for a lot of crappy programming is off the charts!

I’m about to do the same thing. The smallest package is 165 channels for $1/channel. I don’t watch more than 10 channels so I shouldn’t have to pay $155 for channels I don’t watch.

We’ve been using just an antenna for a little over 2 years now. It’s to the point that we hardly watch television anymore.

And the Dalla Snooze even charges extra for a TV log so you can find the few gems in all that garbage!
