I’m convinced that cats can change their molecular density. How else can you explain why a 15 pound cat and a 9 pound cat sound like an entire herd of horses as they chase each other around the house?
15 pound cats are relatively common, even 20 pounders are known. It is just that they lie indoors and you rarely see them. I doubt they would be running around at all, much less keeping up with a 9 pound cat. An ocelot or lynx maybe.

Don’t be shocked if the cats are snorting fire.
