What happens when one “compromises” on leaving insurance companies in charge. Like the Mafia, their motto is “Your money or your life”. Also a good example of how to lie with statistics in taking the extreme figure and fobbing it off as the average or median figure. One could have just as falsely claimed the increase was 5%, as happened in a state that actually does regulate oligopolies, rather than one where the regulated regulate the regulators.

Why people were dumb enough to vote for Obama once then turn around and do it again is beyond me. It was clear from the start that he was trying to ruin the USA,and he is doing it. If old Hillary gets in it will just continue as is. Look out world get ready for the BIG ONE!!!

That’s the next inadequate step towards adequacy. Or we could jump directly to single payer like the rest of the overdeveloped (and many not there yet) use. Medicare may work for you, and compared to what we had before AMC, it is an improvement. But compared to what we had in Canada, it isn’t even in the same ball park.

I don’t know why any rational person would cancel after they got a needed operation. I was in BC during the transition. Yes there was a waiting list for elective surgery, but never any wait for emergency surgery. And that ended in the early 1970s when the system “caught up” with the demand for elective operations. From the other side, our doctor summed it up as, “I can’t see that I practice medicine any differently now that I no longer worry about getting paid.”
