I haven’t touched my router in a over a decade. A piece of wood left over from a project has the price sticker still on it. When whole (8 ft long) it cost $8.99. Now the same quality is $8.99 per foot. That’s too expensive for me to attempt a nice project; given my skill level and chance of messing it up.

Built most of my furniture. Tools are retired now for the most part.

yeah, you don’t want to fool with a router. razor sharp blades spinning at 20,000rpm wil do some real damage.

I bought some of my hand tools at flea markets. The hand planes I refurbished and used when I built my boat.

I used some of the tools in my basement tonight when I put in a new sump pump.
