OK, this is only slightly off topic, but close! We used to have a veeerrrry old cat who was so deaf he couldn’t hear anything at all. Some of you may know that when cats get old they often stop grooming themselves and he was looking pretty ragged. He was sitting on the bed while my wife was vacuuming the bedroom and my wife just started vacuuming him to see how much loose fur she could get off him. He loved it. Couldn’t get enough of it! All because he wasn’t scared by the sound of the vacuum. Duffy’s gone to the big catnip patch in the sky now but he looks gooood.
We had a beautiful Cocker Spaniel (former show dog and breeder retired from competition and stud work) who loved his bath. When blow drying and brushing his fur afterwards, he would go to sleep and start snoring loudly.
My pups hate bath time and they hate getting toweled off. I dread to think what would happen if I tried to blow dry them. However they really enjoy when I let them out of the bathroom and they run around the house for 20 minutes.
We had a Shih Tzu who hated baths and the blow dryer. If we didn’t have time for the blow dryer, after being toweled off, he would run up and down the hallway to dry himself off.

There’s something obscene in this cartoon – I just can’t put my finger on it!

Well, it’s better than having Rover shake the water all over the floor.

I only wish my dog sat that still when I have to dry him.

if that was my boy in the 3rd panel, his tail (what little he has,) would not be up. and he would do a sit fast.

Reading everyone’s stories was almost as much fun as the cartoon!

Rover looks shocked in panel three. But he’s unfazed by panel four. I’ll bet the hot air feels great.

Seems to me that the 3rd shot is the kicker…or am I missing something in the final position?
