If this strip was supposed to take place in the sixties, Red has plenty of time because it’s still daylight and Star Trek was on at 10:00 on Friday night (or Saturday, depending on the year).
I had the pleasure to meet James Doohan (Scotty) many years back when he was visiting in this State. What a Great individual… He even autographed a Star Trek sound effects cassette that I still have.

This would be me in a nutshell if I had been a kid in the sixties.
