Look at you- a front row seat to watch the world go by. Blink and you might miss it. The earth spends a thousand miles an hour. Cute.
Ha, Ha, Rover! ;)
It looks like Rover is doing “the wave”!
So Red lives close to the equator.
Isn’t it though.
if the earth spins a thousand miles an hour one way, what would happen is you could travel the other direction at one thousand and one miles.
“WhEEeee!!”
neverenoughgold: It has been done over several time zones by aircraft, and could be done to the previous day by paddling a canoe across the International Date Line or walking around the Pole. You would hardly notice.
Better not tell him that the Earth (and entire Solar System) is hurtling toward the constellation Hercules at 12 miles/second (~45,000 mph)
When my dog’s ears stick out, I’m always waiting for the wind to carry him away! LOL!
Is this the first time we’ve seen Red say “cute”?
I LOVE the whimsy of Rover’s ears blowing “as the world turns.” Just loveable!
