Hey, Rover. Waiting for Red's bus? Yessiree! It should be a long shortly. Mind if we wait with you? Not at all. This is so exciting! Feels like a big event. Will there be food? Possibly. Red sometimes has cafeteria crackers in his pocket.

See, Rover’s a good friend who’s even willing to “Share his BOY!”
Can’t say that for many people.

The way to a dog’s heart has always been some type of munchie. That’s how they were domesticated…a bone here, a little piece of meat there…and, cafeteria crackers, natch! ;)

As I recall, the cafeteria food was no better than the food I got at home. It was certainly nothing I would have wanted to bring home.

I have long observed the solid social structure among dogs, what in humans we would call courtesy — “no” means “no”; no stepping on one; giving one space; tentative approach to strangers. Very interesting.
