If I remember right from the 1960’s..It was Beagles..lots and lots of Beagles..(I imagine there is a MilkBone commercial on youtube,,too lazy to post)

Second pass for today. Panel two with those jowls of Rover’s so full of those Milky-Bones is a classic! Never struck me on the first time like it did just now.
