Notice how Rover’s head acts like an armrest. How cute! Thank you Red for helping the voiceless!

I applaud your passionate & powerful statement, boys. It reminds me of Brian Basset’s animal rescue involvement. Continue to be the gentle, caring team that you are. Love you dearly, Red & Rover.

Thank you so much for taking up for our pets. And, John Smith; I’ll listen to that sermon everyday until this horrible treatment of our defenseless animals ceases!

Shame on you if you call this preaching. People need to be reminded of of all the terrible cruelty happening to animals out there and on Brian Basset Red and Rover for making a stand with this strip.

I think Rover was dictating that letter, nevertheless it was the heartfelt appeal of them both. Well done Mr. Bassett!

I’m very happy to say that our local paper has a weekly feature (on Sundays, biggest circulation day) from a local rescue / shelter organization that offers information on animal care and features some of their adoptables, their profiles and a little bit of their histories.

omg, no don’t do. i recently had to stop reading huffington post because of all the sad animal stories. There is only so much sadness that I can deal with, without wanting to jump off the empire state building. I treat my animal companions with love and kindness, my small bit for animal kind.

Would it be considered a miracle if tomorrow’s news headline was the capture and arrest of some dickhead animal abuser? It shouldn’t be all that hard to find him or her!
We can only hope and pray…
