One tree is as good as the next.
What difference does it make?
What difference? In the mind of a 10-year-old, things like this are of earth shattering importance.
Do deciduous trees help you make decisions?
Since there appears to be decorations and a cord running out from the bottom of the tree, clearly it is a yard decoration. Red comes from a time when right and wrong were the way of life not our current what ever makes you feel good time.
I know there is a squirl up there as well!
