Handling glass plates and glass cups freaked me out when I was ten too.

I think Rover is scoping out his best position for table scraps.

I remember being in charge of table napkins. What confused me was that box of “feminine napkins” in our hall closet. Good thing I never investigated!

My grandma came from Italy through Ellis Island. Every time she broke something,it was first dish or cup she ever broke.
