It’s summer! Red always goes barefoot during the summer!

I used to play croquet with bare feet too. Luckily I never hit my foot with the mallet. My mom would have washed my mouth out with soap for screaming such a word!

The first and only time I’ve seen Rover in favor of Red wearing shoes!

He totally had it coming.

Red hates to say it but he TOLD YOU SO!

I played barefoot but didn’t have my bare foot on the ball to hit it. I just hit it and walked to the spot where it stopped. Yeah I know I was lucky. However, I was a good and careful player. Used to beat the pants off my dad each time. Drove him nuts. When we went to NJ to make our big summer time visit when all the family came to his house. Big family as my grandma had 24 brothers and sisters. Mostly brothers and if memory serves me 7 sisters. I loved going as I got to ride horses. Go swimming in the lake, pond and very large in the ground pool too with a great diving board. My Uncle Jim taught me a ton of different dives and I aced them all. He loved it.

Red is back to his golf swing for his croquet club.

Hahaha, my daughter did that just a few weeks ago. I told her flip-flops weren’t probably the best thing to be wearing when sending someone’s ball.

Ha ha ha. What a moron! I mean everyone knowS that it really hurts when you hit the side of your foot with that mallet; I mean, anywhere on your foot…good thing that never happened to me. Nope, never to me…
