HM needs to keep his trap shut. I’m sure Rip has a whole bucketful of KA-WHOPS left over.

Dollars to flapjacks, i’ll bet that the Highwayman will die before Rip gets him to jail, and the actual villain will turn out to be his son… the heretofore unmentioned Interstateman, or his son will turn out to be Oak Tree.
