Before World War I, the German mark currency was worth about 4 to a US dollar. By 1923, it had dropped in value to more than 1 trillion to one! Jim Lund of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, stacked 9455 marbles into a pyramid gluing only the base together- it took him 4 days to complete it!

I’d say Jim Lund lost his marbles. Thanks Gmartin! Nice to meet you guys too.And Loonier — GoComics is trying to absorb a couple hundred comics and who knows how many new users from Comics.com. It’s only been 8 days and they didn’t own the rights to start early. Stuff like that will be sorted out in time.

@Loonier – it’s probably because the size of the file to send color is much larger than for monochrome.

this is interesting: to make a marble pyramid with 9455 marbles means the base would be 30×30, but the drawing only has 23×23 hehe. I cant find this guy with google

here’s another thought. It took 4 days to make it? It might have taken 3 days to put the base of 900 together, and let it dry but then you could probably just pour the next layer on.
