The tiny European country of San Marino has had its current constitution in effect since the year 1600! The Platybelodon, and ancient relative of the modern elephant, had a shovel shaped jaw that ended into massive, blade like teeth! Its mouth was so uniquely shaped that scientists are still unsure as to how they ate. A Mac a day... Don Gorske of Fond du Lac, Wisc., USA, eats at least one Big Mac hamburger daily- having eaten more than 25,000 since he first began on May 17, 1972!

This is such old old old old news. I like reading Ripleys but this guy had so much press, I am guessing a year ago or more.

If you do the math he woukd have to eat more than one per day to reach 25,000 in 39 years. Seems bogus to me.

As for the platybelodon, perhaps they are now extinct because of their obstructed ability to eat!

I wonder if the government of San Marino ignores its constitution the way that the U.S. government ignores ours?
