@bmdnut, No, the Italians invaded and conquered. The Ethiopians fought back with horse cavalry vs. tanks I believe. Mussolini was on a “Rebuild The Roman Empire” trip.

Ethiopia and Liberia were the only two African countries that retained its sovereignty as a recognized independent country.
