Armed with an ear! When Sherrie Walters of Baltimore, Md., lost an ear to cancer, doctors at Johns Hopkins University grew a replacement year on her forearm using her own body tissue! It looks... um, delish?!! Live giant beetle larvae soup is a delicacy in Vietnam! In June 2012, ultra marathon runner Andrew Hedgeman from Paeroa, New Zealand, ran the 621 miles from Brisbane to Sydney, Australia, and just 15 days!

If the larvae are alive it obviously not like vichyssoise or gazpacho, otherwise they would be dead from the hot water?

that was neat about Sherrie Walters having a replacement ear grown on her forearm with her own tissue isn’t it wonderful the things they can do for the handicapped these days like artificial limbs and hearing aids and eye and cochlear transplants?? and also braille sign language and closed captioned television??

look up cochlear transplant on Wikipedia if you don’t know what it is..I can’t really explain it has something to do with hearing
