Barbaturex Morrisoni, a 6-foot-long lizard that roamed Asia 40 millin years ago, was recently names after the lead singer of The Doors, Jim Morrison, whose nickname was "The Lizard King". Ivan The Terrible (1530-1584), the tsar of Russia who ordered the deaths of thousands of people and murdered his son and heir, was a talented poet and composer of religious music! The Hollywood sign, which originally read "Hollywoodland," was erected in 1923 to advertise a new housing development and designed to only last a year and a half!

Ah the good old days. They built something to last for 1.5 years and it’s lasted 90. Today they build something for 5 years and you’re lucky if it lasts 1.
