    In case anyone was interested, here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU5N2SrEaZI..Of course, the irony here is that Jimmy is being interviewed by Gig Young. Jimmy Dean’s qualifications to provide advice about safe driving is about as good as Gig Young’s qualifications to discuss safe drinking. Look it up. It isn’t pretty.

    Richard Webster is right. James Dean was killed at an intersection on CA 46 east of Paso Robles. The only cars there was Dean’s and the person in the truck who pulled out in front of him. There are no houses or anything else anywhere near where he was killed. Go to Google Earth and search where James Dean died.

    Dean crashed near the intersection of route 46 and route 41. I have been there. The intersection has been changed since 1955 because there were so many crashes there. Don’t blame Mr. Turnupseed, it was a bad intersection. Dean had stopped at the gas station in Lost Hills near what is now route 5. Route 5 was not there in 1955. The gas station is still there and they have posters of James Dean on the walls.

    I really shouldn’t type this, but it is 11:32 p.m. and maybe no one will read it . . . .

    I had Yorkshire pudding once and I think a coat of varnish and paddling it across a lake that is the best use of the English traditional dish . . . other than, mortar mix. ; – {

    Don’t blame Mr. Turnupseed. There were a lot of accidents at the intersection of route 46 and route 41. That is why they changed the intersection several years ago.
