Ripley's Believe It or Not! SEND MORE BATHERS! In December 2013, more than 60 bathers were injured in an attack by flesh-eating piranhas in the Parana River, Argentina. La Bougie du Sapeur is a French newspaper publish every February 29th -- ONCE every four years. YIKES! The murre, an arctic seabird, can dive to depths of almost 700 feet to feed on squid.

Does that quadrennial periodical only do the news of 29 February, or of what has happened in the last four years?

I find this “fact” a little hard to swallow. How does a Murre locate a squid 700 ft. down? It’s dark, cold and the water pressure is intense. The U.S. navy should look into this.

Snoopy just spent several days pretending he was a piranha. Lucy put a stop to it, though…

The murre apparently can’t get caught in those suction cups along a squid’s legs. I was ten or eleven when I read that blood drives piranhas mad, at the sight or smell of it, they’ll attack. That they can reduce a capybara (world’s largest rodent) to a skeleton very quickly.
