A 3 -year-old Chihuahua-Dachshund mix named Corbin escaped from his owner's yard in Killeen, Texas, on March 25, 2014, and was found four days later outside an animal shelter in Hamilton, Ohio- almost 1000 miles away! The color changing Moorish gecko has light sensitive skin that automatically adjust its color according to its environment, without the need to use its eyes.

What did you learn today?
Corbin the gecko disappeared from Texas and was found the next day in Alaska. He had changed color to match walrus skin.
