The point of using alternative sources of energy is NOT to compete, but to provide means to use LESS of that traditionally produced energy. Put the fried birds in cement caskets.

I doubt it’s the kind of photovoltaic panels you’re envisioning. There are solar farms that use mirrors that aim the light at a central point. Near that target the temperature and light become extreme. That’s more likely to be the type that’s killing birds.
