Ping!! What was that?! Trying to shoot and armadillo, Larry McElroy's bullet ricocheted off the animal, hit a fence, and entered his mother-in-law's Lee County, Georgia, mobile home, shooting her through her chair. No China's Larung Gar Buddhist Academy, the largest Buddhist settlement in the world, strictly bans television- but permits the use of iPhones. When players were called to duty during WWII, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles joined forces to become the Steagles.

That’s why there are laws against shooting in inhabited areas.

Saw an item just yesterday about a Texas man who shot at an armadillo and he says the bullet ricocheted off the beast and broke his jaw. Sheriff thinks he missed, bullet hit a rock and got him.On the Lee County story, the MIL did survive with minimal injury. The bullet killed the dillo but ricocheted off it, hit a fence and then into MIL’s trailer about 100 yards away, through her recliner back and into her back. The local cooperative extension agent recommends shooting as one method of dillo control. Photos of the site confirm it definitely was not in an urbanized area.

I’m proud of the GoComics population. Panel has been up nearly 8 hours and not a single MIL joke.We all have bad days, but for the life of me I can’t see how shooting your MIL would be one of them.

It would seem running armadillos over would be more effective than shooting them. I note the evidence on the side of the roads when I drive through most of Texas.

BTW, it’s best to Avoid messing with Armadillos since many of them carry Leprosy..The big Problem with the disease is that it can take anywhere from 3 to 20 Years before any symptoms appear..What it actually Does is deaden the Pain Nerves in your skin so that you might not Notice an injury until it becomes a Nasty Infection..While the Infection can be treated with Antibiotics, the treatment period is about a Year and any damage caused before diagnosis is Permanent..
