Given her name, she should have built that addition with solar panels.

Plaster is not strong enough to build with. The main support had to be a more sturdy frame. Hair is common to use with plaster as horse hair has been used for many years now. Plaster was applied over spaced wood lathe wall construction.

She must have been a barber, also…

A long time ago, in a cartoon called “That’s Jake”, Jake was stuck in traffic with a woman and baby. He said something like, “Anyone who likes urban expansion was never stuck in traffic in Atlanta, in mid-August, with a broken air conditioner, a mad woman and a crying baby.”

Atlanta was originally built at the interior end of a railroad running to the Savannah and coast, thus, “Terminus”. The original new name was the rather ambitious “Atlantica-Pacifica”, which soon became “Atlanta”.

As to hair and plaster, it’s as ordinary as log cabins.
