The Greater Green River Intergalactic Spaceport and Green River, Wyoming, has been inviting alien visitors since the mid-90s with a UFO landing strip! Bat-boom! During World War II, the U.S. Army tested incendiary bombs attached to 6000 Mexican free tailed bats! At Thailand's Vegetarian Festival, devotees known as Mah Song or Spirit Horses can enter a trance and have items from daggers to swords and even bicycles- pierced through their cheeks!

Um… what do daggers, swords, and bicycles have to do with vegetarianism? (How do you also get a bicycle pierced through your cheek?)

They’re probably drinking too much Mekhong at the Thai Vegetarian Festival.

I read about the bat thing. They couldn’t train the bats to pick targets reliably. War engenders lots of interesting ideas.

I’ll bet that, even with their mouths full of knives and bicycles, they couldn’t go five minutes without telling everybody they were vegetarian.

Actually the bat thing finally had all the problems solved about delivery and target acquisition. Trial runs had been made and the system was ready to be deployed over Japanese cities. But the program was cancelled. Abruptly. Mid summer 1945

Actually it’s bicycle wheel spokes, not bicycles.

After reading the other two items, I’m confident that the aliens would never want to come here.
