India, with its Caste system. I bet the lower caste would have loved a cupcake

There are few things worse than stale, moldy cupcakes. Maybe the let the Rat Temple residents gnaw them for a few months until the monsoons hit.

Wouldn’t it be funny if they had to call customer service in America to find the best way to stack the cupcakes?

Would coupons have had barcodes 36 years ago?

Someone on a reader feature in our local paper many years ago posted that they had a stack of coupons for their grocery order once… just to see, they threw in a 1972 coupon for 7 cents off whatever it was, and the store took it. Back then it was 25 years out of date, but what’s 7 cents? ;-)

I really don’t care how quickly Randy DeGregorio can fold pizza boxes, I’m more concerned about how quickly he can deliver the pizza in the box.

I had a coupon for $5.00 off a dinner at Olive Garden but they refused to honor it.

The structural integrity of cupcakes is suspect. With perfect six inch tall cupcakes, that’s 83 layers of cupcake … with one 0.2 inch layer of icing.

Not impressed with the pizza boxes. Back in the day I could fold boxes faster. I should have contacted Ripley’s, but I didn’t think anybody cared. Oh, right. Nobody does.

    Twenty cents? 36 years?

The coupon may not have had an expiration date, but the purchasing power of the dollars had an expiration on a large fraction of their value.

I wonder what a more recent unexpired coupon would have on it. Probably more than twenty cents, I betcha.

Handy skill! That should get Gregorio a job in…a pizza parlor.

It’s been quite a while since this comic strip has had all of its entries being about people who have absolutely way too much time on their hands. So Sad.
