… AND Godzilla must destroy buildings in Tokyo for no obvious reason.

I had childhood nightmares after seeing the original Godzilla on TV. I dreamed that it was 300 ft tall, and could see me from miles away and would come after me unless I hid in closed spaces like attics or root cellars. If I have a flashback tonight… Hoo boy! Are you gonna get it!

Meet the Onion family – (kind of a strange surname, but that’s the way it is)

The mother, father and daughter are out for a walk. They get to the streetlight at an intersection and as the walk sign lights up, they begin to cross but a careless driver catches the daughter onion and she rolls to the side of the road, horribly injured.

She is rushed to the hospital and after a few hours the doctor comes to the waiting room to speak to the parents: “Sir, ma’am, I have good news and bad news.”

“Okay, give it to us Doc, we want to know how she’s doing.” they asked

“Well,” says the doctor, “the good news is your daughter is going to live.”

The parents feel a huge relief, then ask for the bad news.

“The bad news is, she’s going to be a vegetable for the rest of her life.”

I was allergic to onions, garlic, leeks, lillies, fish, and tomatoes for 38 years (going Keto got rid of my allergies among other things). It would have killed me to go there and breathe the onions!

Okay, so Godzilla can’t hunt people, but can he kill them without hunting them?

Odd, as of 2024 Tokyo is listed as having a population of appox 14.18 million.

I guess the other 23 million must be illegal aliens and migrant crop workers

Wouldn’t Godzilla knocking down buildings violate the no hunting humans? You just know the buildings must have had some people in them.

At first glance, I thought that Godzilla illustration was a horribly mutated cactus plant.

Godzilla is a metaphor for nuclear war or massive natural disasters, so of course he’s would never target people specifically
