Rose looks at the thermostat and says, ?Begin with the Fahrenheit temperature?? Rose holds a tape measure along Peekaboo?s sleeping body. Rose continues, ?Then add the length, in inches, of the stretched-out kitty!? Rose and Jimbo are sitting on the porch, fanning themselves from the heat. Peekaboo is lying by their feet. Rose says to Jimbo, ?109 in the shade!? Peekaboo thinks, ?The kitty index is what really matters!?
