Maybe they learn other things too, when we were in Carson City, NV we had several deer that were very polite. .One night we were driving around looking at Christmas lights and came to a pedestrian crossing with speed bumps. The deer was waiting at the side of the road and we slowed. It carefully picked it’s way across the road in the crosswalk and then bounded off into the darkness..The wild horses were much more likly to mosy on out into the highway and try crossing at the curved hilltop blind spots, the deer would walk along next to it like hichhikers until the reached the nice level spots you could see aways.

water_moon: I had that problem Sunday. Hidden by a large truck, a pedestrian tried to run a red light and almost hit my car broadside.

I worked at a remote site for some years. Our Office Administrator was nicknamed “Diana the Huntress” ‘cause she’d totaled two company cars hitting deer. The Boss grounded her. If she needed something from our main facility, someone else made the drive. Nobody cared about the cars, we worried she’d get hurt.
