There are axis deer in my north Texas county. The problem with imported species is they don’t stay where they were brought. Remember: starling, European rock dove (pigeon), ring-necked pheasant, mongoose (Hawaii), and even those that recently came on their own like the cattle egret.
No Allied listed in my bestiaries. Park deer are often tame, resulting in sever problems when the ignorant think they are so cute when fed standing on their hind legs. Looking for better support, they try to rest the front legs on the feeder, often resulting in severe clawing by the slashing hooves.

Axis deer are spotted when adult, but I don’t think this is an Eurasian setting.
