Happy Thanksgiving, Rose and company! (No hogging from Clem, that’s good)
you could do this if you live inTx!!
I wonder what happened to Clem’s dad…?
Weather permitting…
Once went to a state park to have a formal picnic, lovely day, then temp dropped as well as snow. More memorable picnic in the old white VW bus with china, silver flatwar and silver candle sticks.Best picnic ever.
I’m afraid not today, we just got snow and a power outage that, so far, has lasted 10 hours.
Has anyone else wondered about the Pilgrims and Native Americans setting up plank tables outside…in late November…in Massachusetts…to eat a meal?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. If your are traveling stay safe out there.
There have been occasional Thanksgivings in Utah where you could picnic today, but it would be unusual, especially in northern Utah!
Rather cool today-I am not the pioneer type-indoors for me.
Happy Thanksgiving all. May your Turkey be moist and tender and your gravy not be lumpy! ;^)
If you can do that in the area you live in! Can’t do that in my area today! Have a good Thanksgiving everyone!
Not today in CA as snow in the mountains and rain on the valley floor….so indoors it is for everyone.
When I was a kid, we had more Holiday Dinners Outdoors than Indoors.
Particularly when all the uncles, aunts & cousins got together for the holiday.
Mostly because no one had a House or dining room large enough to seat 30+ people, so we used the nearest public park with large enough picnic tables.
It’s a good thing we lived in Florida.
I’ve taligated at Buffalo Bills games in worse weather.
As long as the stupid neighbor is not burning leaves.
That’s a rare shot of Fanny joining a family celebration with her mother and son.
