What a wonderful couple. And, family.

At least it is Rose. Meemaw on the other hand would probably like a ride in the wheelbarrow too, (her inner child likes fun too). But she would be a lot harder to move, I would think.

Jimbo’s version of a wheelbarrow race is a lot easier on Rose’s arms.

The Gumbos are a darling of a family. Making all of us happy with that wonderful moments.

There is an oak tree in my back yard. I brought it home in my VW from Home Depot.

That was years ago. It’s now as tall as my house and gives shade to the entire back garden. From the window in my study I can look out at it and see it standing there in all it’s glory.

I sometimes just like to put my hand against it’s trunk and say “I brought you here. I hope you like it.”

Coming from an Italian family, I have always been partial to the Gumbo family!

Did almost the same thing some 36-37 odd years ago.

I love it that Rose can bring out her inner self. We all need to recognize our inner child and let it come to the surface and just have fun if only for a short time.
