Snow is a good insulator, leave it on. It is not that heavy.

Snow has been known to cause some roofs to cave in.

My family in Virginia is always gobsmacked when I mention having to rake the roof here in Maine.

I had a landlord like that once.

Our roof doesn’t get shoveled. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, even though I live in Canada.
