I never understood what they mean when they said that. I mean, in what way is it stronger than steel? Like you wouldn’t be able to break it? Like you tried to break it with your finger and it wouldn’t break? I can’t imagine that.
I once came upon a “support” strand of spiderweb that was thick, strong, and not sticky. I could pluck it like a guitar string. The spider, down on the main web, didn’t much like that.
