As I understand it, early humans would separate out one herd animal in the morning and then walk it to death. Keep it moving away from the herd, throw rocks and wait until it was too tired to fight, and then kill it and cook it. I imagine it would have been like a day at work for most of us today, a lot of drudgery [walking], a few bosses shouting useless orders and finally going home and eating the meal you’ve been thinking about all day.
