I had a job fixing wood chippers. Part of the job involved climbing inside the feed chute to adjust the clearance of the knives. I can’t imagine that being the last thing someone would see. There have been cases of chippers with safety devices disabled injesting a person.
Honestly, Gary should be pleased. Leopold usually just buries them in Gary’s flower bed. This way they will be much easier to apply as compost, and Gary’s spring bloom will be the talk of the neighborhood, if there is anyone left in the neighborhood.
