Icy streets are a snap. wait until the temp hits freezing or colder. Take your garden hose and run it out onto the street. Turn on the outdoor tap and you are all set. For best effect go to as many neighbours homes as possible and turn their hoses on too.

I figured out I could turn on a fire hydrant with a pipe wrench. We flooded the hill in the woods to have an icy slope: much fun. Next, we turned on the hydrant at the top of the hill on the main road and let it run all night. We didn’t repeat that move: the number of cars that slid down the hill, and some into the ditches on the side, freaked my friend out something terrible. Yes, that was before I developed a conscience: now I know it is better to burn cities down and shoot people.
