and Ontario just backed off on a new sex ed curriculum in the face of many complaints from various parent groups. it WAS a bit overboard, but it struck me that most of what was quoted from parents was on the order of “too much, too soon” and what was quoted from kids and young adults was along the lines of “wish i’d had this info when i was that age.” interesting debate.
@yyyguy That was an interesting debate and a very rapid political retreat. My question is, “Where do we draw the line between family and school responsibilities?”
I ask as one who was a teacher and school administrator for 35 years. (and also raised 3 children of our own)
