Those that moved our jobs abroad, reduce our tax base that supports our country, sold US military contracts to China, gave a communist country power over the world, caused us to lose our allies all for personal gain, then complain they don’t have enough money. Also, those that help them.
Ben did it more for principle, as opposed to way too many of today’s folks willing to do it for profit. May the new year bring us a few principled folks to take the place of the buck chasers.
actually he was a dreamer, and sincerely believed in this nation. what he got was screwed by the political engine in power at the time, that favored cronies, and not gallant gallopers. the disheartening reality iced his soul, so to speak. and the rest is history. he didn’t betray the country so much as the military/industrial/government complex in power that used him and threw him away. sort of like the USS Liberty scandal: Israel was just doing what LBJ paid them 2 Billion dollars (or nuclear Else) to do.
