These days no longer a joke. We may have to keep the water for flushing or for plants.
I do, here in the desert. I water my entire garden from “grey” water, laundry, dishwater, water normally wasted waiting for the hot water to come down from the solar tank on the roof.
In traditional Japanese baths or onsens, one washes outside the bath, then uses the bath to soak in and saves the water for the other bathers.
