Never put of ‘til tomorrow what you can put off indefinitely. Which is exactly what the Kochs and others funding “denier science”, and pushing fossil fuels, want to do about correcting the impacts of their industry on climate. As the major devastation IS going to be several decades down the road (not that the near-term is going to be “pleasant”) they really don’t care about posterity, because like James Watt and other for profit evangelical fundamentalists, they don’t pass the buck, they accumulate them, or spend it on themselves.
