Flight Simulator, best video game EVER!

BOOT!!!

It is the nesting time of year here in the NE USA. Baby birds will soon be getting pushed out of the nest for their flight lessons. (And there is bird crap all over the yard)

Ma just seems to drone on and on.

I miss the days of games that used Joysticks for flying. Flight sims and game like Starlancer were great. They don’t really do those anymore

I was at a driving range a couple days ago and there was a beautiful red tailed hawk soaring over the range. I wonder if it thought the golf balls were prey?

Watch that first step, it is a doozy.

Some birds are game, and some birds are gamers.

For the first 11 years of my military career I maintained and operated flight simulators for the Air Force. It’s the next best thing to flying and a job I really miss to this day.

fwiw…. the only reason I stopped doing that was because I had to. Some out of touch MBA type further up the food chain decided it was better to contract that work out to civilians and I had to find another job or get out of the service at the 11 year mark. I stayed in, despite some second and third thoughts at the time, and never regretted it (well… not much anyway 8^)

This is for the birds.
