Yep, Canary, you will serve as a warning to others of impending danger…

now if I tell you that you suffer from delusions

you pay your analyst to reach the same conclusions

you live your life like a canary in a coal mine

you get so dizzy even walking in a straight line

it’s nice that these coal miners have adopted a homeless bird to keep them company while they work….and they all are so apparently attentive to his little birdie needs

when the canary is dead, they know there’s not enough O2 for them in the cave. Me thinks some of you aren’t aware of this

LOL - Bottom Burps from 2 Cows & A Chicken! Wonder if it will make it in the dictionary (see last Sunday’s toon).

eardroppings: We’re not aware of it because it’s inaccurate. The problem in coal mines is not lack of oxygen, but traces of methane and carbon monoxide that can kill miners. The canary is much more sensitive to these gases than humans, and hence is used as a living alarm system. (I guess “dying alarm system” would be more accurate, sadly.) We were making “methane jokes,” if you will. Hence reference to beans, cabbage, etc.

Just all havin’ a good time at the poor canary’s expense!
