I always found the Roadrunner kind of annoying and wished Wile E. would catch him. However, it was Tweety that I really, really, REALLY wanted to see go down Sylvester’s gullet and stay there. I could never stand that irritating bird.
He actually did catch the roadrunner in one episdoe, but he was only a few inches tall and the roadrunner was full size, so he did not know ahta to do with him
Wile E. Coyote’s problem was he never tried the same thing again, he gave up before perfecting his various techniques. Apparently, his hindsight was limited to the last self-inflicted pounding.
