I love it when I get text messages telling me that there has been suspicious activity on my Welles Fargo Account. I am tempted to contact them and ask them for the account number so I can withdraw whatever cash is in this account that I don’t have.
Also about once a month, someone compromises my social security number in El Paso, Texas.
Do you know that you can, for free, lock access to your credit rating accounts. This means, that without your code, nobody can even LOOK at the account much less use it to take out a loan or buy a house.
I use this to my advantage when buying a car. I get to a certain amount and then tell them, that’s as high as I can go without going home to transfer funds. They usually offer to finance the car on the spot. I tell them, I have to go home to get a one time access code so they can do this. Car dealerships do NOT want you walking off the lot.
Also, since my scores are not open for grabs, I get a lot less spam (electronic and paper) for credit cards.
