I’m not surprised, Night. No matter how good your comic is, promoting it is the hardest part. There are still comics online if you want to check it out, or you can back the kickstarter.
Half of the joy of what I do is introducing people to new work. No matter how famous a cartoonist is, there are millions who have no idea of their work. Inside the industry, we all know names like Pastis or Amend, but most of the people I know in my life who are not really into comics have barely heard of “Peanuts.” And the web is even more so…some cartoonists have rabid followings, and I’ve never heard of them…and I’m around this stuff all the time! The good news is, now’s a chance to get out there and see what’s going on…in many ways, it really IS a golden age for the amount and quality of comics and graphic novels out there.
