Actually,I come in from New York several times a year for Orioles games(even t he Yankees don’t sell out).
Camden Yards is a beautiful place to watch a ballgame.
And I have no trouble getting “day of game” tickets. At VERYcheap prices compared to New York.
Orioles may be handicapping their OWN home run hitters;their big problem is their pitching stinks to high heaven’;especially since they traded Gausman;who’s beenburning up the League wherever he goes since.
As long as it’s a constant thing (as opposed to something that they change based on their opponents for the day), I don’t see the problem. It affects everyone equally, and nothing about it violates the rules.

The Cleveland Indians had a movable fence when Bill Veeck owned the team.

Other teams have done this over the years. I don’t know what the big deal is. People have to make big deals out of the simplest things don’t they.

Last year the Orioles team ERA was 5.84 so far this year 4.09, so I’d say, spot on. Just don’t move the warehouse.

I don’t know of any rule against it.

Some teams [koff-koff-Dodgers/Jints/Braves/Athletics-koff] had moveable teams.

The MLB rule is that walls/dimensions can change between seasons, but must remain constant during a season.

i’m glad they did that – teams like the Yankees move theirs in to a point any hit is a home run. Makes it a joke.
