After the Boston Massacre, Bunker Hill, Lexington and Concord, Samuel and John Adams, not to mention Old Ironsides being berthed nearby — we can conclude that antagonizing the British is an old and respected tradition of the area.

When the royal family comes overseas, it’s bound to result in a culture clash.

Boston Globe version is that it was considered gentle heckling by local standards and they had fun despite it https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/11/30/sports/celtics-had-some-royal-guests-wednesday-prince-william-kate/

My family’s lineage is deeply English; there’s even a village in England that has my surname.

However, I have never thought that the “royals” deserve my respect and fealty simply because of their position due solely to their being born a “royal.” The hell with that.

By natural right, I neither bow my head nor bend my knee to no one.

Go, Boston! Keep up a proud American tradition!

When I was in London a number of years back, I went to see a U.S. – England soccer match. They booed our national anthem (not all of them, but enough).

There wasn’t much at stake, since it was an “International Friendly” match, but personally I can only vouch for it being “International.”

It had nothing to do with British Royality, rather about a couple that has everything going on NETFLIX and crying “Poor Us!” “Feel sorry for us!” That couple disrespected The British Royal family far more than any Boston fan.

“Royalty”: The inbred offspring of a brutal megalomaniac that was more brutal than the other brutal megalomaniacs of his time.
